• Full-time, Days shift, Telemetry capable unit

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit with a focus on post-operative and acute care patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and utilize EKG to assess patient status.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, including isolation precautions and blood product administration.
• Use EPIC electronic medical records system for documentation and care coordination.
• Serve as Charge RN as needed and participate in float coverage as required.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a Medical Surgical or Telemetry setting.
• Valid RN license.
• BLS certification.
• Pass Fail EKG exam administered during onboarding.
• Knowledge of peripheral line care, IV starting, blood product administration, and medication management including Heparin, Insulin, PCA.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience using Rapid Response teams.
• Familiarity with isolation precautions and infection control protocols.
