Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care to cardiac patients in a stepdown unit, including post-procedure and telemetry monitoring.
• Manage arterial and venous access patients, including radial and ulnar access sites, and monitor for hemostasis.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in a pre/post unit serving cath lab, EP lab, PV lab, and interventional radiology.
• Perform patient assessments, monitor vitals, and respond to patient needs efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards.
• Document patient care accurately using electronic medical records systems.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant telemetry and cardiac stepdown experience.
• Ability to work 3x12-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with no weekends or holidays.
• Experience with ACLS, BLS certifications.
• Proficiency in EPIC electronic health record system.
• Knowledge of care for arterial and venous access patients, including hemostasis management.
• Charge nurse experience preferred.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• First-time travelers accepted.
• Experience with Same Day PCI and interventional radiology patient populations.
• Strong understanding of telemetry monitoring and post-procedure patient care.
