- Full-time, contract, 13-week travel assignment, night shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), on-site
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a busy medical-surgical unit specializing in orthopedic and surgical patients.
- Administer medications, including IV therapies, and monitor patient progress.
- Collaborate with nursing and medical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and dress code (navy scrubs).
- Document patient care accurately using electronic medical records.
- Participate in nursing procedures and support patient discharge processes.
Required Qualifications
- Valid LVN/LPN license.
- Current BLS certification.
- IV certification is required.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant nursing experience.
- Ability to work 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM shifts.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a fast-paced med-surg or surgical unit.
- CPR certification (preferred).
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR).
- Team-oriented and friendly personality traits.
