Registered Nurse LTC/SNF
Job Title
- Registered Nurse - Long-Term Care / Skilled Nursing Facility

Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, night shift (2300-0730), 16-32 weeks contract, travel or local options
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in a 34-bed LTC/SNF unit within a hospital setting during night shifts
- Float as needed to other units, with no call requirements
- Support patient care needs, ensuring coverage for every other weekend and holiday rotations
- Document patient information using Sigmacare and Epic systems
- Follow facility protocols related to dress code, medication administration, and unit procedures
- Assist with patient assessments and care planning for adult, elderly patient population
Required Qualifications
- Valid NY State Registered Nurse license or proof of application (licensing may take 6-8 weeks)
- Minimum of 1 year clinical nursing experience in LTC or SNF settings
- Ability to work nights, with flexibility for floating and holiday shifts
- Experience with Sigmacare and Epic is preferred but not mandatory for SNF assignments
- Reliable transportation, personal or rental vehicle, equipped for winter months (November–April)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred but not required
- Knowledge of resident care in long-term care and skilled nursing environments
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
