Schedule / Job Type

• Travel, Night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 13-week assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a Medical Surgical unit, including wound management, drain care, Foley insertions, and central line dressing changes
• Monitor telemetry, perform EKGs as needed, and assist with procedures such as CBI and IV management
• Conduct bedside shift reports, hourly safety rounds, and foster personal connections with patients
• Collaborate with unit staff including secretaries and techs to ensure quality patient care
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and documentation standards using Meditech Expanse

Required Qualifications

• Valid LVN/LPN license with active IV certification
• Minimum of 2 years recent Med-Surg experience
• Proficiency in telemetry monitoring, IV insertion, and wound care procedures
• BLS certification required
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and float within the same level of care

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with central line dressing changes and chest tube management
• Familiarity with hospital-specific protocols and guidelines
• Strong bedside manners and patient engagement skills
