- Full-time, travel assignment, night shift
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients on the telemetry unit.
- Monitor patient vital signs and remote telemetry equipment to detect changes in patient status.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Document patient information accurately using the electronic medical record system.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Prepare patients for procedures such as Endoscopy, IR, and OR as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid RN license in North Carolina.
- BLS certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in telemetry or med-surg units.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Leadership or charge nurse experience.
- BSN degree.
- Experience with medical telemetry monitoring systems.
