Key Responsibilities
• Provide emergency nursing care in a Level 2 Trauma Emergency Department serving a diverse patient population
• Manage acute cases including strokes, myocardial infarctions, trauma, gunshot wounds, sepsis, CHF, and pediatric emergencies
• Administer medications such as antibiotics, vasopressors, opioids, sedatives, antihypertensives, anti-seizure, and cardiac drugs
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to prioritize and stabilize patients efficiently
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic charting system

Required Qualifications
• Active CA RN license
• ACLS, BCLS, NIH, PALS certifications
• LA City Fire Card
• Minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience
• Comfortable working with pediatric patients (approximately 30%)
• Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience serving diverse, lower-income Hispanic populations
• Familiarity with trauma, pediatrics, and emergency medical procedures
• Knowledge of hospital protocols for critical care and trauma management
