Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit at a leading hospital facility.
- Monitor patient vital signs and conduct assessments according to protocols.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately, adhering to hospital policies.
- Recognize and respond to patient emergencies, including arrhythmias and other acute conditions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Document patient care activities thoroughly and timely.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in the Medical-Surgical or Telemetry specialty prior to travel assignments.
- At least 18 months of recent MS/Tele experience, including travel experience.
- Valid Ohio nursing license or active compact state license.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
- Ability to work at least every other holiday.
- Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a hospital environment with a diverse patient population.
- Ability to adapt to rotating shifts and operational needs.
