Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in intermediate care (IMC), progressive care unit (PCU), and stepdown units.
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; manage dysrhythmias and titrate IV drips.
- Administer medications, including PICC line management and peripheral line care.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes.
- Follow protocols for patient safety and compliance, including mandatory EKG exams for all RNs.
- Float between multiple campuses as needed; flexibility required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license.
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in similar settings.
- ACLS, BLS, NIH certifications.
- Experience with cardiac telemetry, dysrhythmia management, and IV titration.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior work in PCU or stepdown units.
- Ability to manage multiple patients with a 1:5 staff ratio.
- Experience with peripheral and PICC line management.
