Job Title

Schedule / Job Type
- Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, with on-call responsibilities approximately once daily
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the labor and delivery unit during night shifts
- Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs to ensure safety and comfort
- Assist and support patients throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient information accurately and maintain confidentiality
- Handle call duties related to labor and delivery, averaging about one birth per day
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Arizona
- Experience or certification in labor and delivery nursing preferred
- Strong patient assessment and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience in a labor and delivery unit
- BLS and NRP certification
- Ability to handle high-stress situations effectively
