Key Responsibilities
- Operate all Cath lab and digital processing equipment with precision.
- Assist during cardiac catheterization procedures, including scrubbing and operating X-ray equipment.
- Ensure quality acquisition of digital images for cardiac diagnostics.
- Assist in patient care across adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations, demonstrating knowledge of growth and development principles.
- Contribute to the department by stocking supplies and maintaining an orderly work environment.
- Support specialized procedures such as diagnostic and interventional cardiology, peripheral angiography, and device implantations.
Required Qualifications
- Current Rad Tech License issued by the Louisiana State Board of Radiology.
- ARRT National Radiology license.
- Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred and highly encouraged.
- Minimum of 1 year of related experience.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Training or experience in diagnostic cardiology, interventional cardiology, peripheral angiography, pacemaker, or defibrillator implantations.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multi-modal cardiac lab environment.
- Flexible with weekend and on-call schedules in collaboration with staff.
