Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect patient care to chemotherapy patients.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and healthcare team members regarding patient conditions and updates.
- Respond promptly and accurately to changes in patient and unit status to ensure safety and quality care.
- Perform administrative duties, including patient teaching, triage, counseling, supervision, and delegation.
- Administer chemotherapy medications and treatments as prescribed by authorized physicians and NPs, ensuring compliance with protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license in the State of Oregon.
- ACLS certification.
- ONS Chemotherapy & Biotherapy Provider Card.
- Minimum of one year of experience in acute care or medical-surgical nursing.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in oncology or chemotherapy administration.
- Strong communication and clinical assessment skills.
