Schedule / Job Type:
Travel, 13-week assignment, Days shift, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and implement patient care specific to the emergency department, ensuring quality and safety.
• Provide efficient, evidence-based nursing care in compliance with organizational standards.
• Demonstrate professionalism and respectful communication with staff, physicians, patients, and families.
• Assess patient conditions and respond to emergencies swiftly and effectively.
• Maintain thorough documentation of patient care activities and observations.
• Adhere to infection control policies and safety protocols.

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current New Mexico RN license or a license from a Compact state.
• BLS certification from AHA (obtained within 2 weeks of hire).
• All other required certifications must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• Knowledge of emergency nursing standards and clinical skills appropriate to the patient population.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with patients of all ages and backgrounds.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Minimum of 1 year of emergency room nursing experience.
• Familiarity with trauma and critical care protocols.
• Strong clinical judgment and quick decision-making skills.
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations professionally.

This is a travel assignment located at 455 Saint Michaels Drive, Santa Fe, NM. The position is on a day shift from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with an anticipated start date of September 15, 2025, and an expected end date of December 13, 2025.
