Key Responsibilities

• Provide floating nursing care across ICU, Intermediate, Stepdown, and Medical-Surgical units based on patient volume and unit needs.
• Work up to 13 weeks on a 3x12 days schedule, including weekdays and up to 2 weekends per month.
• Cover major holidays as required, demonstrating flexibility with floating assignments and schedule requests.
• Utilize EMR system (EPIC) proficiently to document patient care.
• Adhere to facility protocols, including minimum staffing ratios and safety standards.

Required Qualifications

• Active NC or Multistate nursing license.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• 1-2 years of recent nursing experience, travel experience preferred.
• Proficiency in EPIC EMR system.
• Valid driver’s license for address verification.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in ICU, Intermediate, or Stepdown units.
• Ability to operate effectively in a float position across multiple specialties.
• Strong adaptability to varying patient acuity levels and unit environments.
