Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized intensive care to adult and geriatric patients with complex medical conditions in a busy ICU setting.
• Administer treatments including mechanical ventilation, pulmonary artery catheter placement, CRRT, and other advanced procedures.
• Monitor and document patient status using computerized charting systems such as EPIC.
• Perform venipunctures, IV starts, and medication administration while adhering to strict safety protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort by following established clinical guidelines and protocols.

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio or appropriate state.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience, preferably in a similar adult ICU setting.
• Proficiency in ventilator management, IV insertion, and computerized charting (EPIC required).
• Basic proficiency in NIH skills and advanced patient monitoring.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with complex procedures such as pulmonary artery catheter placement, CRRT, and plasmapheresis.
• Prior experience with oncology emergencies, ARDS, sepsis, and other critical diagnoses.
• Familiarity with hemodynamically compromised patient management, including use of chest tubes, central lines, and complex medication protocols.
