Full-time, night shifts
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric oncology patients in a medical-surgical setting.
- Monitor and interpret telemetry to ensure patient safety and stability.
- Administer chemotherapy and other treatments following safety protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Assist patients through various stages of their cancer journey, including diagnosis, treatment, and end-of-life care.
- Ensure infection prevention and fall prevention protocols are followed.
Required Qualifications:
- Valid RN license
- Minimum of 2 years of registered nursing experience
- Experience with adult and geriatric patient populations
- Strong telemetry interpretation skills
- Current BLS certification
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Oncology-focused experience
- ONS Chemotherapy certification (preferred but not required)
- Prior travel nursing experience
- Experience with EPIC or similar electronic health record systems
