• Full-time, Night shifts

Key Responsibilities
• Float to various Oncology Medical-Surgical (MS) and Progressive Care Unit (PCU) shifts as needed.
• Provide patient care for inmates in a secure correctional environment, ensuring safety and adherence to protocols.
• Manage patients with active oncology diagnoses, including solid tumors and hematology treatments, along with other medical conditions.
• Utilize EPIC electronic medical records for documentation and medication systems like Pyxis for medication management.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, manage IV therapies, and respond to emergencies with unit-based telemetry monitoring.
• Support multidisciplinary teams including pharmacy, physical therapy, radiology, and social services.

Required Qualifications
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• EPIC charting experience is required.
• Experience with med-surg, telemetry, or oncology nursing preferred.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Oncology unit experience is highly desirable but not required.
• Familiarity with medication administration protocols (Heparin, PCA, etc.).
• Experience working in a correctional healthcare setting is a plus.
• Ability to interpret ABGs and manage respiratory equipment such as CPAP/BIPAP and HFNC.
