Key Responsibilities
• Collaborate with healthcare team to provide specialized nursing care in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory and Electrophysiology (EP) suite.
• Assist with diagnostic and interventional procedures such as cardiac catheterizations, PCI, and electrophysiology studies.
• Monitor patient vitals, administer medications, and ensure patient safety throughout procedures.
• Document patient information and procedural data accurately in medical records.
• Float to other units as needed in accordance with hospital policies.
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols, including dress code and body art policies.

Required Qualifications
• Active Texas RN license; temporary licenses are not accepted.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a cardiac catheterization or electrophysiology setting.
• Experience with diagnostic cardiac procedures such as PCI, STEMI, TAVR, and TMVR.
• Ability to work day shifts, including weekends on a rotating basis.
• Willingness to float as needed within hospital units.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• 5+ years of experience in a Cath Lab setting.
• RCIS, ARRTR, or CVT certifications with at least 5 years of diagnostic cardiac cath/PCI/STEMI experience.
• Experience with pediatric congenital heart procedures is a plus.
