Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a Medical Surgical and Telemetry setting
- Monitor patient health status and respond to changes promptly
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Document patient interactions, assessments, and care plans accurately
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care strategies
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and healthcare regulations
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license in the state of Virginia
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Medical Surgical or Telemetry nursing
- BLS certification (Basic Life Support) required
- Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Strong clinical assessment skills and attention to detail
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience working night shifts
- Strong patient communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
