Schedule / Job Type
Full-time, day shifts, 3x12s (6:45 a.m. – 7:15 p.m.), with on-call requirements (1-2 nights weekly) and occasional weekend shifts (1-2 weekends every six weeks).

Key Responsibilities

• Provide surgical technical support within the operating room for various procedures across multiple service lines.
• Assist in maintaining sterile environments and ensuring surgical instruments and supplies are ready and properly sterilized.
• Float between multiple campuses (Downtown, Northeast, Kershaw) as staffing needs dictate.
• Support the surgical team during procedures, adhering to hospital protocols and patient safety standards.
• Contribute to efficient OR operations, including patient positioning, instrument passing, and documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1+ years of surgical tech experience, with strong general surgery background.
• Certification: BLS (Basic Life Support), NBSTSA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting).
• Radiation badge required; must be provided by the staffing agency.
• Ability to float between different hospital campuses as needed.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in acute care hospital settings, preferably with a variety of surgical procedures.
• Flexibility to work a block schedule and accommodate occasional on-call and weekend shifts.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills in a high-pressure environment.
