Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in the Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU), including hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management.
• Monitor and respond to critical patient needs using advanced ICU skills.
• Document patient information accurately in Meditech system.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety procedures, and dress code standards.
• Float to other units as needed, following Methodist floating policy.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Texas RN license (no temporary licenses accepted).
• Minimum of 2 years ICU experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• NIH certification required.
• Proficient in hemodynamic monitoring (e.g., swans, art lines).
• Ability to manage ventilators effectively.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Exposure to IABP, CRRT, and advanced cardiac devices.
• Experience with Meditech charting and order entry.
• Strong critical thinking skills and ability to handle complex patient scenarios.

This role involves night shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM, with a 13-week assignment duration. Candidates must be able to adhere to uniform, grooming, and body art policies. Only candidates meeting the specified qualifications and experience will be considered.
