Key Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients in a fast-paced ER setting
• Assess patient conditions, prioritize treatments, and implement appropriate interventions
• Monitor vital signs and adjust care plans as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Collaborate with medical teams to coordinate patient diagnostics and treatments
• Document patient care activities accurately and thoroughly
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans and post-discharge care
Required Qualifications
• Valid Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Alaska
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Proven experience working in an Emergency Room environment
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Prior experience in urban or rural ER settings preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
