Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to ICU patients in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CVICU).
• Monitor Hemodynamic parameters including Swan Ganz catheters and arterial lines.
• Manage ventilators and assist with cardiac support devices such as IABP, Impella, and ECMO.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech electronic health record system.
• Comply with hospital policies, including dress code and floating policies.

Required Qualifications

• Valid and active Texas RN license (NO TEMP LICENSES accepted).
• Minimum of 2 years ICU experience, with strong critical thinking skills.
• Proficiency in hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator management, ACLS, and BLS certifications.
• NIH certification required.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Exposure to IABP, CRRT, and Meditech charting.
• Experience with post-CABG, VAD, and cardiac support device procedures.

Additional Details

• Shift hours: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM / 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, rotating weekends.
• Floating policy in place; candidates must be adaptable to facility float requirements.
• Dress code mandates navy scrubs for nurses, professional grooming standards, and body art/piercing policies.
