Job Title
• Registered Nurse - Long Term Care / Skilled Nursing Facility

Schedule / Job Type
• Rotating shifts / Contract / Travel assignment

Key Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to residents in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting.
• Administer medications, monitor patient conditions, and document care utilizing electronic charting systems.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and safety standards.
• Adjust to facility needs by working day or night shifts as assigned, maintaining flexibility within scope of practice.
• Support facility operations by floating within scope when needed and respecting staffing ratios.

Required Qualifications
• Valid Alaska Registered Nurse license (must be in hand).
• Minimum of 1 year of LTC or SNF experience.
• BLS certification.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including days and nights.
• Willingness to work at least 2 major winter holidays and comply with facility RTO policies.
• Proficiency with electronic charting systems.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Prior travel nursing experience.
• Strong communication skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working with diverse resident populations.
