Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled physical therapy assistance to patients under the supervision of licensed therapists
- Implement treatment plans and therapy routines designed by the clinical team
- Document patient progress and communicate with healthcare staff regarding patient status
- Assist in setting up therapy sessions and maintaining therapy equipment
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for patient care
Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapy Assistant license or certification in the state of Arizona
- Current CPR certification
- Experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or similar healthcare setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in long-term care or rehabilitation settings
- Knowledge of electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Ability to adapt treatment plans to individual patient needs
