Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care in the Medical ICU, including COVID-19 patients.
- Monitor patient conditions and administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergent situations during night shifts.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and documentation requirements.
- Maintain proficiency in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in ICU nursing.
- Current BLS certification; ACLS certification required.
- NIHSS certification is preferred.
- Valid RN license for the state of Georgia.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Certification in Critical Care (CCRN) is highly desirable.
- Experience working in a Medical ICU and Covid ICU settings.
- Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
