Schedule / Job Type
- Travel, 13-week assignment, night shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a 20-bed inpatient unit specialized in telemetry, medical-surgical, and step-down care.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in condition utilizing telemetry equipment and bedside monitors.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure efficient patient flow and safety.
- Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record system.
- Float to other units as needed, maintaining flexibility and adaptability.
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Carolina.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
- Telemetry competency.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Recent experience in progressive care or step-down units.
- Prior experience with telemetry monitoring and short-stay patient care.
- Strong patient communication and compassionate attitude.
