- Full-time, Night shifts, 13-week contract
Key Responsibilities
- Provide emergency nursing care in a fast-paced ER environment for both adult and pediatric patients
- Manage a variety of clinical procedures including IV starts, medication administration, arterial line care, and blood product transfusions
- Interpret and respond to dysrhythmias, manage neuro-trauma, spinal cord injuries, and traumatic brain injuries
- Assess and triage incoming patients, adhering to isolation precautions and safety protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care during high-acuity situations, including STEMI, stroke, and other critical conditions
- Perform and interpret ABGs, monitor ICP, and support trauma and orthopedic cases
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse license
- ACLS certification
- BLS certification
- CPI or PALS certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 2+ years of ER experience in a comparable setting
- Experience with neuro-trauma, orthopedic trauma, and pediatric emergency care
- Knowledge of complex procedures like CVA monitoring, neuro-ICU care, and ventilator management
- Ability to interpret dysrhythmias and manage critical patient interventions
