Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized care to patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods.
- Monitor fetal and maternal vital signs, assess progress, and intervene when necessary.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes.
- Document patient care accurately using electronic health records.
- Educate patients and families on postpartum care and newborn care.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in California.
- Willing to consider first-time travelers.
- Ability to work every other weekend.
- On-call availability required.
- Open to accommodating a block schedule at manager’s discretion.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous Labor and Delivery experience strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with Epic charting system.
- Ability to float between similar units as needed.
