Key Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.
- Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs during labor and delivery.
- Assist with childbirth procedures and manage post-delivery recovery.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Document patient care accurately using electronic health records.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergency situations.
Required Qualifications
- Valid California RN license (or pending license accepted).
- BLS, ACLS, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications.
- Willingness to float between units if required.
- Ability to work every other weekend.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience in Labor and Delivery or Maternity units.
- Familiarity with Epic electronic health record system.
