Key Responsibilities
• Provide nursing care to labor and post-partum patients in an acute care hospital setting
• Monitor patient progress and assist with delivery procedures
• Collaborate with medical team to ensure patient safety and comfort
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic charting system
• Adhere to hospital policies and safety protocols for labor and delivery units
• Support patient and family education during the birthing process
Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years of labor and post-partum nursing experience
• Valid and current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in California
• Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP
Preferred Experience / Skills
• AWHONN Advanced Certification
• Experience in a high-volume acute care hospital environment
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including block scheduling if available
