Key Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures across various service lines, including general, gynecology, robotics, neuro, orthopedics, plastic surgery, urology, burn, and trauma.
• Ensure proper sterile techniques and maintain a sterile field during surgeries.
• Prepare and operate surgical equipment and instruments.
• Collaborate with surgical team members to support patient care during procedures.
• Follow unit-specific policies and guidelines to ensure compliance and safety.
• Maintain awareness of equipment use and documentation in the designated system.

Required Qualifications

• Broad surgical knowledge and experience in multiple service lines.
• Minimum of 2 years of OR tech or surgical tech experience.
• Certification as a CST or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to effectively scrub and assist in diverse surgical procedures.
• Flexibility to work variable schedules, including possible call requirements.
• Strong team collaboration and communication skills.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with robotic surgery, neuro, or trauma surgeries.
• Familiarity with Cerner or similar documentation systems.
• Previous travel or shift flexibility in hospital settings.
