Job Title
- IR/Special Procedures Technician

Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, Days, 4x10-hour shifts (Monday-Friday), typically 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, with on-call rotation (weekdays & weekends included; approximately 8 days/month, including 1 weekend)
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct interventional radiology procedures such as angiography, venography, EVAR, TEVAR, carotid stenting, and neuro-interventions, including acute stroke interventions and embolizations
- Set up and operate fluoroscopy equipment, maintain sterile fields, and monitor equipment and supplies
- Assist with procedural tasks including EKG lead placement, access site preparation, and use of vascular closure systems
- Maintain infection control protocols and ensure sterile technique throughout procedures
- Perform accurate equipment monitoring and troubleshooting during procedures
- Provide on-call support and float to a sister facility as required
Required Qualifications
- ARRT certification and active WV State License (or pending with active license prior to start)
- BLS certification
- Minimum of 1 year experience in interventional radiology or special procedures
- Ability to respond within 30 minutes for on-call coverage
- Familiarity with fluoroscopy systems (Siemens preferred), ultrasound, PACS, and vascular closure devices
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Vascular intervention certification
- Experience with neuro-interventions and acute stroke procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced interventional radiology suite with diverse procedures
