Job Title
• Registered Nurse - ICU

• Lexington, KY

Schedule / Job Type
• Night shifts, part-time with 3-4 weekend shifts per month (Friday or Saturday nights)

Key Responsibilities
• Provide specialized critical care for neuro and multisystem trauma patients.
• Manage airway, ventilated patients, and administer continuous IV sedation and vasopressor titration.
• Monitor and interpret ABGs, dysrhythmias, and other critical parameters.
• Implement isolation precautions and maintain computerized documentation.
• Utilize triage skills for ER and ER Holding settings.
• Oversee management of central lines, IV drips, and airway devices.
• Ensure patient safety and compliance with all critical care protocols.

Required Qualifications
• Valid RN license in Kentucky.
• 1.5+ years of recent ICU experience.
• Current certifications in NIHSS, ACLS, and BLS.
• Strong neuro patient care experience.
• Proven experience managing ventilated patients, airway management, and dysrhythmia interpretation.
• Experience with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure management.
• Previous travel or agency experience preferred.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience with post-thoracic, neuro, or general surgeries such as fempops, CEAs, craniotomies.
• Knowledge of airway management techniques and central line care.
• Familiarity with ER triage and fluid management in critical care.
