Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, overnight shift (1 p.m. to 1 a.m.), mid-shift
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality emergency care to patients in a busy trauma center
- Float between different hospital units as needed, maintaining flexibility
- Adhere to hospital protocols and safety standards during patient treatment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care
- Document patient information accurately and efficiently
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
- Current certifications: TNCC, ACLS, PALS, BLS, NIHSS
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and on-call shifts (though on-call is not required)
- Experience in emergency or acute care settings preferred
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior ER or trauma nursing experience
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
