Registered Nurse - PICU
Location: Lubbock, TX
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, night shift

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).
• Float between units as needed, adapting to different patient care environments.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments and treatments.
• Follow all hospital protocols and safety procedures to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• PICU experience is required.
• Ability to work night shifts, including weekends on a variable schedule.
• Capable of managing patient ratios of 1:2/3.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a pediatric hospital or Level II Pediatric Trauma Center.
• Comfortable with float assignments across various units.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
