Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct, individualized nursing care to medical and surgical patients based on scientific nursing principles.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with healthcare team members.
• Administer medications via oral, IV, or subcutaneous routes, and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and their families about procedures, post-treatment care, and managing illnesses.
• Record patient vital signs, medical information, and monitor specialized equipment.
• Respond to emergency situations, including life-saving interventions, and assist with procedures or discharges as needed.
• Document all care accurately and concisely, maintaining compliance with hospital standards.

Required Qualifications

• Active Wyoming RN license or multi-state license.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications through the American Heart Association.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent medical-surgical nursing experience.
• Ability to provide bedside care in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a community hospital setting.
• Knowledge of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
