Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct, individualized nursing care to medical and surgical patients based on scientific nursing principles.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with healthcare team members.
- Administer medications via oral, IV, or subcutaneous routes, and monitor for adverse reactions.
- Educate patients and their families about procedures, post-treatment care, and managing illnesses.
- Record patient vital signs, medical information, and monitor specialized equipment.
- Respond to emergency situations, including life-saving interventions, and assist with procedures or discharges as needed.
- Document all care accurately and concisely, maintaining compliance with hospital standards.
Required Qualifications
- Active Wyoming RN license or multi-state license.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications through the American Heart Association.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent medical-surgical nursing experience.
- Ability to provide bedside care in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a community hospital setting.
- Knowledge of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
