Job Title

Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, 13-week assignment, 36 hours per week, day shifts with weekend call rotation
Key Responsibilities
- Provide advanced nursing care to postoperative patients in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) and Ambulatory Surgical Unit (ASU)
- Monitor patient vital signs, manage recovery, and ensure safety during postoperative recovery
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient care and progress accurately in medical records
- Respond quickly and effectively to patient needs and emergencies during recovery periods
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of recent experience in an ASU/PACU setting
- Current BLS certification
- ACLS certification required
- PALS certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a fast-paced surgical or recovery environment
- Strong knowledge of postoperative patient care protocols
