Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Tele

Schedule / Job Type:

Full-time, contract, 3x12-hour shifts (days and rotating shifts)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit
• Monitor patient vital signs, interpret ECG rhythms, and respond to cardiac emergencies
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
• Document patient progress accurately in medical records
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards

Required Qualifications:

• At least 18 months of permanent experience in Medical Surgical or Telemetry nursing prior to travel assignments
• Minimum 18 months of recent MS/Tele experience; travel experience accepted
• Valid Ohio license or current compact state license
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Ability to work at least every other holiday
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate during orientation

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience in a hospital setting with rotating shifts
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills
