• Full-time, night shift (6:30 PM – 6:30 AM), rotating weekends, 13-week contract

Key Responsibilities

• Provide pulmonary care for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients under physician supervision.
• Conduct patient assessments and develop respiratory care plans.
• Perform technical procedures including airway management, ventilator setup and operation, and aerosolized drug delivery.
• Manage airway support devices such as BiPAP and CPAP.
• Analyze chest films, blood gases, EKGs, and perform waveform analysis.
• Participate in emergency response (Code Blue/White) and hospital surveys.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure equipment cleanliness and stock levels.
• May serve as Shift Lead or Team Leader.
• Advanced duties may include pulmonary function testing, bronchoscopy support, hemodynamic monitoring, and sleep studies.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RT or RCP license in the state of Texas.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association).
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential through NBRC.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 1-3 years of respiratory therapy experience preferred.
• Experience with ventilator management, therapeutic gas management, and advanced procedures such as Polysomnography.
