Key Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiograms and ultrasound procedures to assist in diagnostic imaging.
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment according to safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate data collection and patient care.
• Document findings accurately in the electronic health record system.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited ultrasound or sonography program.
• Certification or registry as a Sonographer (RDMS or equivalent).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience performing echocardiograms or ultrasound procedures.
• Proficiency with echocardiography and ultrasound equipment.
• Ability to work independently and maintain high-quality standards.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in a hospital setting, particularly in acute care.
• Familiarity with Epic electronic medical records system.
• Ability to adapt to various unit environments as needed.
