Registered Nurse - Psychiatric
Location: Lewiston, ME
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, nights

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and indirect patient care to children and adolescents on an inpatient behavioral unit.
• Administer medications and educate patients and their families about treatment plans.
• Document patient care activities and monitor/manage behaviors throughout the shift.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care.
• Lead and participate in educational groups for patients.
• Float to chemical dependency/detox units as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• Associates Degree in Nursing.
• Valid Maine RN license.
• BLS certification.
• CPI trained.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• 1-3 years of nursing experience, preferably with adult populations.
• Experience working with pediatric or adolescent patients.
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage stressful situations professionally.
• Ability to set and maintain professional boundaries.
