- Full-time, night shift (3x12s, 7 PM - 7:30 AM), 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to pediatric patients in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) and across all pediatric units within the facility.
- Float within scope to meet facility needs, supporting units such as CVPICU, NICU, and PICU.
- Maintain compliance with all licensing and certification requirements, including BLS and PALS.
- Adapt to rotating weekend and holiday schedules, including occasional disparate shifts.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient-centered care, ensuring safety and positive outcomes.
- Follow unit policies regarding patient ratios, emergency procedures, and documentation standards.
Required Qualifications
- Valid South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact State RN license.
- Minimum of 2 years of Pediatric ICU experience.
- Current BLS and PALS certifications (American Heart Association accepted).
- Ability to float between pediatric units as needed.
- Flexibility to work nights and weekends, with availability for holiday rotations.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with ECMO or CRRT therapies.
- Prior pediatric critical care experience preferred but not mandatory if criteria are met.
- Willingness to work a block schedule requiring manager approval.
