Job Title

• Full-time, Night shift

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to patients in Intermediate Care, Progressive Care, and Stepdown units.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, manage chest tubes, epidurals, and other surgical drains.
• Conduct post-procedure patient assessments including cardiac catheterizations, device placements, and post-surgical care.
• Administer critical drips, manage epidurals, and operate PCA devices.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care accurately using electronic medical records (Meditech).

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license.
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in PCU, IMC, or stepdown units.
• Knowledge of cardiac rhythms and surgical patient care.
• Experience with chest tube management and epidurals.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.

Shifts & On-call

• Night shifts, every other weekend or four weekends per month

Certifications

• 13-week assignment, with potential for extension
