Key Responsibilities
- Administer care in an inpatient substance abuse treatment setting for patients aged 18 and above.
- Perform clinical assessments including CIWA and COWS protocols, and conduct UAs.
- Maintain firm yet compassionate boundaries with patients to support recovery.
- Document patient care accurately using electronic health record systems.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic patient care.
- Respond to patient needs and support a safe, therapeutic environment.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN or LPN license.
- BLS and CPI certifications.
- At least 12 months of experience in an inpatient rehab or psychiatric setting.
- Knowledge of CIWA, COWS, and UAs protocols.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience in psychiatric or mental health treatment.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (HCS or equivalent).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced inpatient environment.

Additional Information
- Facility has a capacity of 50 beds (20 female, 30 male).
- Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1 nurse on day shift.
- No onsite security; voluntary patients; no restraints used.
- On-call administration and physician coverage available at all times.
- Visiting hours: Sundays 1-4 PM.
- Orientation: 2-3 days of 12-hour shifts, with comprehensive training until comfortable.
