Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, night shifts (7 p.m. - 7 a.m.), including every third weekend and holidays as needed. All travelers may be required to float between all Cone Health campuses.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient rehabilitation care for patients with neurological and surgical conditions, including stroke, aneurysm, TBI, ABI, spinal injuries, and general debility.
• Administer medications, interpret laboratory results, and conduct patient assessments such as vital signs and allergies.
• Perform dressing changes and set up sterile/aseptic procedures.
• Conduct phlebotomy, specimen labeling, and specimen collection (throat, urine, blood).
• Manage patient communication via telephone triage, handle pharmacy calls, and coordinate patient refill requests.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience in acute care rehab settings.
• Valid BLS certification.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record systems.
• Ability to interpret laboratory results and perform medication reconciliation.
• Knowledge of patient history documentation, vital signs, and allergy assessments.
• Experience with sterile procedures, phlebotomy, and specimen handling.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior inpatient rehab experience with neurological and post-surgical patients.
• Ability to manage patient ratios of 1:6.
• Familiarity with neurological diagnoses such as CVA, TBI, ABI, and spinal cord injuries.
