Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a Level I Trauma Center within a Medical-Surgical unit.
• Adhere to team nursing protocols, maintaining effective patient ratios of 1:6 or 1:7.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.
• Support patient safety and comfort through attentive nursing interventions.
• Meet unit performance expectations including experience in a large hospital setting and trauma care.

Required Qualifications

• Valid nursing license in compliance with NLC guidelines.
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in Medical-Surgical nursing, preferably in a Level I Trauma Center.
• Experience with team nursing models and large hospital environments.
• Ability to work nights and participate in holiday coverage.
• Flexibility to float with minimal frequency.
• No first-time travelers unless they have at least 3 years recent experience.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Trauma experience, specifically Level I Trauma.
• Previous experience working in a short-term acute care hospital.
• Ability to manage high-acuity patients in a fast-paced environment.
