Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the labor and delivery unit.
- Monitor fetal and maternal vital signs, responding to any changes or emergencies.
- Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record system.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure safe and effective delivery processes.
- Support new mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in New Mexico or multi-state.
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHOHHN intermediate.
- Proficiency with Meditech or comparable EMR documentation system preferred.
- Able to work weekends and night shifts.
- Must be compliant and able to start as soon as possible.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous labor and delivery nursing experience.
- Experience working in rural or critical access hospital settings.
