• Night shift / Full-time (on-night schedule)

Key Responsibilities

• Obtain and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis across various patient age groups, including neonates, children, adults, and geriatric patients.
• Perform laboratory testing in accordance with department protocols and standards.
• Participate in quality improvement and continuous quality initiatives within the laboratory.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communication of test results and specimen information.
• Demonstrate proficiency in phlebotomy and specimen handling procedures.
• Adhere to safety and compliance regulations, including certification in basic life support (BLS).

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to complete on-the-job training specific to laboratory procedures.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Heart Code BLS certification (certification within three months of hire required).
• Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Basic computer literacy and clerical skills.
• Ability to learn and perform phlebotomy procedures competently.
• Flexibility to rotate shifts as needed.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a clinical laboratory environment.
• Knowledge of laboratory information systems.
• Prior experience handling diverse patient populations.
