- Full-time, 22-week contract, days shift
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in the IMCU, PCU, and Stepdown units, float as needed to MedSurg based on patient volume
- Maintain patient ratios of 5:1 with a goal of 4:1, overseeing an average census of 20-24 patients
- Monitor and assess patients, including some pediatric patients, with a focus on telemetry care
- Collaborate with healthcare team to coordinate care plans and document in EMR system (Epic)
- Follow all safety protocols, including maintaining licensure and certifications such as BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS
- Flexibly adapt to unit needs, including participating in blocked scheduling if requested upfront
Required Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina RN license or Multistate license
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a hospital setting, telemetry
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Recent experience working with Epic EMR system
- Skilled in telemetry monitoring and pediatric patient care is a plus

Additional Notes
- NO HOLIDAY or Halloween RTO will be approved at this time
